Batten Airport

planeRacine Wisconsin’s John H. Batten Airport is located on over 450 acres of land and provides services to corporate, business and private aircraft twenty-four hours a day, seven days each week. The general-aviation terminal is complete with pilot and passenger lounges, a flight planning facility equipped with computerized weather data and a conference room with audio/video services available to customers while at the airport. Batten International Airport is the largest privately-owned, public-use, reliever airport in the United States.

    I heard about the B17 coming to you in July. Is this open to the general public? How do I get info?

    The B-17 “Yankee Lady” will be in Racine Friday July 10th – Sunday July 12th and it is open the the public. Check out their website http://yankeeairmuseum.org/ or contact Dave Wright @ 437-483-4030 to make reservations.

    Unfortunately, we are not giving tours at this time. The EAA has a program called Young Eagles for children 8 -18 years old on the second Saturday of each month that you may be interested in. Their number is 634-7575.
